10 people escape bombing on small boat, which unexpectedly stops and sinks mid-journey. Passengers struggle to survive as boat goes down. On October 11, 1943, during WW2, there were fears that Japanese planes would bomb Madras. The relentless Japanese air raids on neighboring countries were making the news. A rumor started to spread that a bomb had been planted in Madras (Chennai) by Japanese sympathizers, who also wanted to take this opportunity to fight the British in India. This leads to widespread panic among the population, and people start to leave Madras. Meanwhile, a British officer, stranded in the sea after his boat got sunk by the Japanese, manages to get the attention of the boat crew and gets rescued. At the same time, we see a giant shark stalking the boat by circling. The only way all can survive if three people need to disembark from the boat.
