Great Deal--We drive 45 minutes to come to this theatre!

We love Silver Screen VII. We drive over from WV because the prices are so great compared to the other theaters the same distance from our home. All the employees are so friendly and helpful. The self serve drinks and the popcorn bar is always a hit with our kids. Thanks for providing a great and fun activity for our family! We'll be back soon!

Thanks for nothing

I traveled from Florida to visit my sister for the week of Thanksgiving. We planned several weeks beforehand to see "Bad Mom's Christmas" with our cousin, as part of a girl's night out. We looked up viewing times of several theaters. Silver Screen was the closest and we found a time that worked for us. It's a half hour drive from my sister's place. Upon arrival we were greeted with a long line, and only one employee doing concessions and selling tickets. He left his post a few times and even took a call on his cell phone. As we finally got up to the counter we were informed that someone had rented the entire theater for The Bad Mom's viewing for the whole evening and we couldn't see the movie. At the very least it should have been posted on the door as we entered and stood in line for nothing for 15 minutes. It should have been posted a month in advance on the online site. When I visit a restaurant, I usually give them two chances if the service is bad before I mark them off the list. I hadn't been to Silver Screen in 18 years. I'll be heading back to Florida soon and won't return to the theater again. Don't worry. Our evening wasn't ruined. We spent money elsewhere. We did not see the movie though. I hope the inconveniences caused by the spoiled brat who rented a theater room on a week night paysoff for you. I can only attest for my experience and it was terrible. Your costumer service is atrocious and I can't believe you stay open if this is the norm.

We enjoyed the movie today at 1:00. But the theatre was dirty. The trash Had to be from the day before and apparently the popcorn was too. Next time we will not buy stale popcorn.
