Not Safe

August 14, 2023

My husband & I attended a 10pm movie a few weeks ago, and up until the end, had a pleasant experience. The end of the showing was interrupted by a security guard entering the auditorium, and it became apparent, after about a minute, that his intention was to bully us into exiting the theater early. In his best intimidating "security guard stance", he stood front & dead center of the theater, just under & in front of the screen. He also spent some time inspecting the front corners of the auditorium with his flashlight, again, while the film was still playing. Once the flim was over, we approached him, and asked him if it's policy to interrupt the end of the movie (it occurred to us that he may just be following bad instructions from the theater). He was immediately defensive, argumentative, and physically shaking within seconds . His lack of ability to explain himself combined with his physiological reaction to being questioned was our sign to walk away. Seemingly bent on escalating things, he began following us out of the auditorium, attempting to argue. My husband actually had to turn, point out that we were walking away, and tell him to stop. He didn't, though. He followed us all the way to the lobby, at which point we approached the front desk and spoke to who we assumed was the MOD. We explained what happened, he seemed concerned & apologetic, and gave is two movie vouchers....that expired 02.28.22. Being given expired vouchers is the least of our concern, as we weren't/aren't looking to be compensated, but it's just insult to injury. The most concerning part is that we've been attempting to report this incident to someone at Hollywood Regal, and they've been unconcerned with reaching back out. I am not one for leaving bad reviews when I'm displeased, but the theater's complete and total lack of concern over what we would consider a serious safety issue, is disheartening. The security guar

Call before you go, they don’t always play movies as advertised schedule

October 30, 2017

Extremely disappointed, did not realize I needed to call to see if a movie you have scheduled is actually playing or not. Drove 30 minutes from ATL to see a scheduled movie only to be turned away as it wasn’t playing tonight and told the website can take hours to update... REALLY ?!?
