Not great

Service is terrible - cold popcorn over an hour after ordering; many broken seats. Filthy bathrooms and food is not good. They alsovrandomly cancel all showings after 8. Too bad - was pretty nice when it opened but it’s gone way downhill.

Disappointed in Service

We went to the Hamlin theater this past week and I was very disappointed with our experience. When we pushed our button for service it took someone almost 20min to respond. After we placed our order for adult beverages only it took another 15min for them to bring them to us. The worst part was we were 15min from the movie being over and the power went out. The employees didn't know how to handle the situation. They came into the theater and said "welcome to Florida where things like this happen" another employee said "it's in the customers not on us" we waited for about 15-20min and power was still not fixed so we left. No one apologized, offered a refund, it just seemed like chaos. I also contacted the corporate office and no one has gotten back to me. It was very poor customer service and we will not be returning.

Horrible Experience

Absolutely one of the worse experiences I have had at a dine-in movie theater. I first tried ordering the Southwest Chicken bowl, and they were out. I thought, no problem, then I tried to order the chicken sandwich, and they were out. When I told the waiter that this was not starting off well, he just laughed and did not offer to share what was in stock. Since they were out of the first three dishes I ordered, I just ordered some popcorn. While the waiter thought it was funny, I was highly disappointed since this was a noon day date with husband and not during a peak time. I definitely will not be returning. I gave it one star for the newest and cleaniness of the theater, but horrible service and out of simple items. Being out of one thing or two entrees maybe okay, but three is bad service to me!

LOVE THIS THEATER!

We go to this Hamlin location at least 3 times a month and it has always been extremely clean, service is great and the people are nice! No idea what the bad reviews are about... we've been going there for 2-3 years now and have never once had an issue.

Very bad experience in Cinépolis at Hamlin in Winter Garden FL

The room #10 didn’t have A/C during the movie. We were not told about the problem with the A/C before getting into the theater. The room was hot inside. Our kids did not allow us to leave the theater because they loved the movie “Abominable”. We asked the waitress about the A/C and recommended to talk to the manager. The manager was careless and did not try to improve our experience. He does not know how to deal with customers. We think Cinepolis does not turn on the A/C when they have few customers. Additionally , the seats were not fully cleaned. It’s unbelievable to happen in a luxury / expensive cinema.

Atrocious customer service

First in movie theater, ordered a beer and a glass of wine, last to get served. Rusted out cup holder smelt awful. Way too expensive for the poor quality of food offered.

Poor Service and Incompetent Managers

I have dined here 5 times and have had mediocre experiences during all of these times. I fractured my leg and have a knee scooter to get me around during recovery. I usually order a dinner item and wine, and I was waiting for my adult daughter to come and join me when I ordered a chicken caesar salad and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy during the movie. During my fifth visit tonight, I ordered a bottle of wine (waiting for my 38 year-old daughter to join me) and the server came and told me that the manager wouldn't sell me a bottle of wine by myself. I explained that my daughter would be joining me, as I did during the other times before when I dined here, and I also told them that if we didn't finish the wine that the Florida wine corking laws would allow us to leave with the wine that we didn't finish, or that I wouldn't finish if my daughter couldn't make it to the theater. The manager on duty, "Anna", wouldn't allow me to do this and I asked for my money back for the ticket and my chicken caesar salad because I was infuriated over all of this hassle when I was out to enjoy a movie. I was refunded a glass of wine that I didn't drink along with the movie ticket but I had to pay for a salad that I didn't enjoy because the experience was ruined. Don't waste your time coming here because they don't know what they are doing which is why they don't have a lot of customers. It's always empty when I go there. Avoid this place because incompetent managers run it and don't know Florida wine laws.

Not worth ALL the money

My husband and I decided last minute to see Aquaman a few weeks back. We knew the ticket prices were outrageous but thought we'd just go one time to see what it was like in there. The theater looked nice and the staff was nice. But by the time we left.....for a simple movie night, it cost us $79.00! We just ordered 2 soft drinks, nachos, and a sandwich. Plus you have waiters running around during the movie which is a bit distracting. After we left we just had this feeling of being "taken". It's not practical. We went because it's so close to where we live. But next time we'll hop on the 429 for a ten-minute drive to West Orange Five. If I ever went back I'd have to be a matinee price and no food. That's about the only way I could maybe justify going back.

Don't waste your money

Honestly, the worst movie experience I've had for the money you pay. $20 for awful service. Their business model just doesn't work with the staff they have.
