Excellent Atmosphere!

When compared to other theaters in surrounding towns, this theater has about the same rates, though the quality is much higher. The popcorn is to die for, the screens are great, as is the audio, and the employees are very friendly and accommodating. The films are always new, and the rates are friendly to kids and seniors. Highly recommend for a great movie experience in Mankato!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I Went to go see a 12:15 movie and arrived at 12:05 and the gate was down. The person inside said they wouldn't open for another five minutes at 12:10 when the movie was at 12:15. SAD!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Heat Not Working in Theater Rooms

I am pretty disappointed with our experience at this Cinemark theater today. My husband and I took the day off to take our 3 year old to her first movie. When we arrived, we got our snacks, had our tickets scanned by an employee and they directed us to the room our movie was playing in. It was a pretty pleasant experience up until we walked into the theater room, which was freezing. We had 2 interactions with employees and no one bothered to mention the heat wasn’t working. I did my best to make the most of the experience and I wrapped my daughter in her blanket and tried bundling her up as best as I could. Mind you, it’s 18 degrees in MN today, so it was pretty unenjoyable sitting in a room with no heat. I could hear multiple people in the room commenting on how cold it was throughout the movie. My daughter was still having the time of her life through her little shivers, so I was just going to walk out without saying anything to the employees, but I just felt it wasn’t right. That experience certainly wasn’t what we had paid for. I decided to approach an employee to express my concerns and they directed me to their manager. He led the conversation straight away and immediately got defensive stating that it was out of their control, which I understand, HOWEVER, there were definitely things that could have been handled differently. He mentioned how they knew about this issue since last week and that they were waiting for a part to come in. I just don’t understand why guests/customers weren’t notified that the heat wasn’t working in the theater rooms when we came in? I’m not one that expects things for free, but I do expect good customer service and I truly didn’t think we received that today. There were no accommodations or proactive communications by anyone. They offered no discount to anyone due to the heat issue or experience as a whole. A/c didn't work

Air conditioning didn't work in theater 5 and after management was asked to fix it 5 times nothing was done.i will never come back
