The Chosen

I went there several times this year. I went to see the Chosen. Theater was clean. The only thing I seen was that they didn’t turn the lights off during the movies til almost toward the end of it. I seen Elvis there and it was perfect. You can go to the app and order tickets and popcorn and drink trouble free. I had no problems doing that. Everyone not wants to watch crap on there phones, Netflix, On Demand and etc. You have to pay for that more than you do for one movie at this theater.

Great but long lines

Clean, comfortable. Need to have separate lines for people just buying tickets. Not everyone wants snacks and the concession lines get long. Missed my start time and had to watch later showing because of waiting in line.

Just felt dirty from the time we entered.

Bathrooms were disgusting near theatre #2. Sound level was entirely too high. 20 minutes of previews. We went to an 11:15 am showing.

The line is ridiculous

Why do you offer people to buy tickets online just for them to wait in a long line . All we needed was someone to scan our tickets that were already paid for. Your lines are ridiculous. You shouldn't have to wait in the same line people are purchasing food and drinks. Have at least two lines . One for tickets and one for food if you can't afford to pay a usher. Because you didn't have ushers theater was nasty. Bathroom nasty. Glad I live near Mooresville because I will just go there for now on when I want to go to the movies. They have it together there. The only good thing is the woman that finally scanned our ticket was very nice. I wasn't going to complain to her because it's not her fault the manager doesn't know how to run the place.

So Many Things Should Be Improved

I only make a theater trip if there's a "Big D" showing. I like the screen size, picture & audio is excellent. The advertisements are ridiculous. They insist on showing them well after showtime which is annoying. The popcorn is not worth buying. Half popcorn, half crumbs & too salty. The cheap Carolina Theater downtown has excellent popcorn. + Big D Theater with great picture & sound - Annoying Advertisements running past supposed "Showtime" you purchased the ticket for - Popcorn

Worst set up to purchase tickets

No concern for customers agreed - this management allows for a customer who only wants to purchase a ticket to have to stand in line with everyone else for concessions. What is management thinking having the concession workers also be responsible for selling tickets? There should be a separate area to expedite ticket purchases and makes absolutely no sense to have to stand in a line with combined ticket and concession sales. I came out of the movie about halfway through to purchase concessions and was told I would have to get back in line with everyone else waiting to buy tickets / concessions. Nowhere for me to just to go get concessions once I have already been in the movie? This is absolutely absurd.

Going Downhill

This theatre has definitely deteriorated since becoming AMC. Lines are slower, the floors are usually a mess now, and prices are too high! Please clean this place up!

Rude concession workers screaming at us

We were screamed at when we walked into the theater as to where to stand and to stay together like we were children by workers behind the concession stand 2 times and there was no crowd there to control I was appalled

No concern for customers

Tried to go to 2 movies today and walked out. 200+ in line and had to wait over 30 minutes to get tickets. Stupidity does not open a ticket only line or both sides to expedite ticket purchases. You should not need to arrive 1 hour early to see movie. Needs new management. It’s as simple as that.
