First Time There and I won't go back to any AMC theater after this

Do not buy online tickets. They do not show you the convenience fees until AFTER you've paid. They do not send you a scannable ticket, so you'll have to wait online to get a ticket anyway . They don't even have a ticket line, so you'll have to do that waiting on line at the concession stand with people buying food in addition to tickets. In addition, I purchased a ticket for Puss in Boots: The Last Wish in 3D, but got to the cinema and they had no 3D glasses. The manager there (Sage West) asked if I wanted to change to the 2D movie or get a FULL refund. I took the refund but it was not a FULL refund as the online "convenience" fee was not included. The manager stated he could not refund the "convenience" fee as it is an online thing. Said I'd have to call AMC, but there are NO PHONE NUMBERS on the AMC website. He took my receipt and all he could give me was a note saying "no 3D glasses" to try and get these fees back from AMC. Why should anyone pay a convenience fee for all this aggravation? First time at this theater and I won't be back to any AMC if this is how they do business now. understand now why AMC's on the verge of going under. Haven't had these issues at either the Regal or Cinemark in Asheville

A Theater That's Seen Far Better Days

Theater looks run down. Most of the time there is no one at the ticket booth and you have to wait in line at concessions to purchase tickets. Concession prices are way over priced. They also show a boatload of commercials while waiting for coming attractions to show. This is after paying an outrageous price for a movie, even matinees are overpriced. The theater, lobby and restrooms are not all that clean either.
