Pacific Theatres

Unlike most of its contemporaries, Pacific Theatres is an Academy Award-winning theater corporation. It won the 1978 Oscar for Technical Achievement for its Cine-Fi sound system, which allowed drive-in viewers to receive soundtrack audio from their car radios. Founded over 70 years ago, Pacific Theatres today operates 96 screens in 16 theaters throughout Southern California.
