Cinemark USA Inc. has been operating for over 30 years and is owned by Cinemark Holdings, Inc. Cinemark’s theater circuit is the third largest in the U.S., with 4,542 screens in 339 theaters in 41 states, comprised of Cinemark Theatres, Century Theatres and Rave Cinemas (as of September 2016). In terms of the company’s wide reach (also by September 2016), Cinemark had a grand total of 522 theaters and 5,865 screens operating under its name. Founded in 1984, Cinemark is the most geographically diverse movie theater company with locations in 15 countries across North, Central and South America, as well as Taiwan. It is headquartered in Plano, Texas, and as of August 2015, Mark Zoradi has been CEO.
