Xosha Roquemore Overview

Xosha Roquemore was born in Los Angeles, California. She began acting when she joined The Amazing Grace Conservatory in ninth grade. After high school, she moved to New York City and graduated from the Tisch program at New York University. Her feature film debut came when she played Joann in the Academy Award-winning film Precious (2009). That same year she appeared in the independent film Rivers Wash Over Me (2009).
