Wesley Snipes Overview

Born in the Bronx, New York, Wesley Snipes left behind his studies at Manhattan's High School for the Performance Arts when his family packed up and moved to Florida, dashing his musical theater dreams. He returned to New York a few years later to study drama at the prestigious theater program at S.U.N.Y.-Purchase, where he was one of only four black students.
