Travis Tope is a young actor best known for his work in the ensemble drama Men, Women and Children, the Prohibition drama series Boardwalk Empire and the blockbuster sequel Independence Day: Resurgence.
Travis grew up in Plano, Texas. He was an Eagle Scout for Plano's Boy Scout Troup 1000 before his interest turned to acting. When he was just 16, he earned his first big screen role in the independent drama Divine Souls (2007). He had a difficult time finding roles for a number of years until he was cast in the drama Little Accidents in 2014, alongside Elizabeth Banks and Boyd Holbrook. He also landed a recurring role on the popular AMC series Boardwalk Empire.
The rising star was then offered roles in The Gambler and November Criminals, but chose to star in the Jason Reitman dramedy Men, Women and Children (2014) opposite Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler, Ansel Elgort, and Rosemarie DeWitt. He followed it up with a starring role in the horror film The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014).
More recently, Travis was also seen as Charlie Miller in the sci-fi sequel Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), and as Evan Klein in the sci-fi horror flick Viral (2016).
