Tony Gilroy Overview

Born in Manhattan and raised in upstate New York, Tony Gilroy is the son of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and filmmaker Frank D. Gilroy. Prior to making his directorial debut with Michael Clayton (2007) starring George Clooney, Gilroy was already an acclaimed screenwriter.
