As perhaps one of the longest standing members of Saturday Night Live in the shows history, Tim Meadows, was born in Highland Park, Michigan, raised in Detroit and attended Wayne State University. He joined SNL back in February 1991 as a featured player, and was promoted to cast player in 1993.
