Thomas Elms Biography

Thomas Elms was born in British Columbia, Canada. A class clown, he fell in love with the stage on his first day of high school, when he saw a rehearsal of the musical Bye Bye Birdie.

He attended university to study philosophy, but halfway through his program, he decided to audition for the three-year acting program at the University of British Columbia, which cemented his love of the craft of acting.

Thomas landed his agent while at UBC and won his first television guest role on an episode of the TV series Aftermath (2016) as Josh Senior. He's since appeared in the film I Still See You (2018) as Brian, and the on the show Project Blue Book (2019). His breakthrough role came when he landed the role of Hamish Duke on the popular Netflix drama series, The Order (2019-2020).

He is also known for his regular role as Nowak on the Canadian series Skymed (2022-2023) and for playing the role of Chuck Day in the critically acclaimed feature film The Boys in the Boat (2023), which was directed by George Clooney.

Thomas is currently in a relationship with actress Francesca Bianchi. ~Mackenzie Heidrick
