Born in New York and raised in Texas, Scott Mechlowicz moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to study at UCLA, where he graduated with honors from their Conservatory Acting Program. He played a small role in the independent feature Neverland (2003) before landing his first leading role in a feature film with Eurotrip (2004).
