Quinton Jackson is an American professional mixed martial arts who is known for his colorful personality.
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Jackson originally intended on pursuing a career in professional wrestling upon finishing high school, but he was drawn to the discipline of mixed martial arts (MMA). Impressed by the success of other wrestlers in MMA, Jackson decided to try his own hand at the budding sport. Jackson made his acting debut in Confessions of a Pit Fighter (2005), the first of several straight-to-DVD productions. His film debut was a small role in The Midnight Meat Train (2008), which was a huge box office failure, but by 2010, he was playing his first starring role in a major motion picture in The A-Team, taking on the role of B.A. Baracus, which was originally played by Mr. T in the TV series of the same name.
