Born in Baton Rouge and educated at Louisiana State University, Pruitt Taylor Vince began his career in the mid-1980s. His first onscreen appearance was in Angel Heart (1987), then he gained early recognition with supporting roles in Mississippi Burning (1988), Jacob’s Ladder (1990), and playing Lee Bowers in JFK (1991).
