Polly Walker Overview

Born and raised in Warrington, England, Polly Walker began her career as a dancer. Her early career came to an end tragically when she suffered a leg injury. Soon after the accident she decided to pursue acting; she moved to London and joined the Royal Shakespeare Company where she played small roles until she landed a few performances on television. It wasn't until 1990 when Walker landed the title role in the TV miniseries Lorna Doone that her television and film career took off.... See All
