PETER CARE

Native to Britain, Care began his career in his native land, directed and edited numerous documentaries, short films, music videos and commercials. He eventually moved across the pond to the United States where he created videos for Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M. and Tina Turner.

In 1995, Care released R.E.M.: Road Movie, a live concert film that received rave reviews.

He continued to work on commercials in the U.S. creating ads for Coke, Levis, Lee Jeans, Microsoft, Saturn, Southwestern Bell, Sprint and MTV.

In 2002, Care released his feature film directing debut The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, about the horrors of American adolescence.
