Nia Vardalos Overview

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Nia Vardalos took an unconventional path to improvisational comedy through the box office. Though she wanted to be on stage, she took a job in the ticket office for the Toronto Second City stage company in the late 1980s.
