Actor Michael Fassbender was born in Heilberg, Germany, to an Irish mother and a German father. The family moved to Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland when Fassbender was two years old. He attended St. Brendan's College in Killarney, where his parents ran the West End House restaurant.
