MEAGAN GOOD

Date of Birth: August 8, 1981

Born in Panorama, California, Meagan Good started her career at age four in commercials. By the time she was 10, she was making the first of her many guest appearances on television shows such as Gabriel's Fire, Touched by an Angel, Moesha, The Famous Jett Jackson and The Division. At 16, she was nominated for both an Image Award as Outstanding Youth Actor and a YoungStar Award for her starring role in her first feature film, Eve's Bayou (1997), playing Samuel L. Jackson's daughter.

In 2003, Meagan dropped out of her regular role as Vanessa on the ABC-TV sitcom, My Wife and Kids starring Damon Wayans, to pursue the many film offers that were coming her way.

She received a Black Movie Award nomination as Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for D.E.B.S. (2004) and Teen Choice Award nominations for Waist Deep (2006) and Stomp the Yard (2007). She went on to play lead roles in The Love Guru (2008) with Mike Myers, the horror flick The Unborn (2009) and the comedy Think Like a Man (2012), based on the bestselling book by Steve Harvey, followed by the sequel, Think Like a Man Too (2014).

She returns to the small screen from time to time, appearing in recurring roles on shows such as Minority Report (2015), Code Black (2016), White Famous (2017) and Star (2018). In 2019, she appeared on the big screen in two very different feature films: the superhero comedy Shazam! (2019) as "Super Hero Darla" and the thriller The Intruder (2019), opposite Michael Ealy and Dennis Quaid.

In her spare time, Meagan enjoys writing plays and hopes to direct movies one day. Deeply religious, she attends church regularly. Her hobbies include kickboxing, dancing, rapping, shopping and doing community service work.
