Born: May 09, 1996

Mary Mouser was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She has been acting from a very young age, making her debut on the police procedural drama Without a Trace as a guest star. Her feature film debut was a voice performance in Son of the Mask (2005).

That same year she would guest-star in a variety of series including Monk, Inconceivable, Adventures in Odyssey, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and The King of Queens.

In 2006 she booked her first lead role as the titular voice on the Starz Kids & Family animated series Eloise: The Animated Series. The show ran from 2006 to 2007.

The following year she booked a regular role in the CW series Life is Wild as Mia Weller and the TV movie A Stranger’s Heart in the role of Cricket. For her performances in both, she was a double nominee at the Young Artist Awards. She was nominated for Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special – Supporting Young Actress, and Best Performance in a TV Series – Supporting Young Actress.

In 2011, Mary was part of the main cast of Body of Proof, playing Lacey Fleming, the daughter of Dana Delany’s character. She appeared in 36 episodes across the series’ three seasons.

She played Audrey Gibson in the feature film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014), which starred Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner.

Mary's star began to grow when she appeared in the legacy sequel series Cobra Kai as Samantha LaRusso, daughter of Ralph Macchio’s Daniel, the character who was the lead in the feature film The Karate Kid (1984). The series started out as a YouTube original before exploding in popularity and moving to Netflix where it became one of its most successful shows.

Mary says she was very nervous during the auditions and took her role very seriously because of the pressure that came with playing the child of a famous character. As the show went on, she became more comfortable and came to truly enjoy playing the character.

She has played Samantha for 60 episodes from 2018 to 2024. In 2025 the show aired its final five episodes to conclude the series. ~Ryan Donahue
