In the trailer for Finding Your Feet, Mike is giving a retirement speech at a swanky party, where he thanks his wife, Lady Sandra Abbot (Imelda Staunton). However, when Sandra walks in on Mike kissing another woman in a dark closet, she immediately packs her bags and goes to her sister Bif's flat. Bif (Celia Imrie) is a free spirit, and convinces a very depressed Sandra to come with her to a dance class in order to cheer her up. It turns out Sandra used to be a very talented dancer in her youth. Sandra reluctantly goes with Bif and meets a variety of fascinating characters. She begins to remember what it was like to have fun, as she joins in with Bif and Bif's friend, Charlie (Timothy Spall), on their adventures.
