Elizabeth "Lizze" Broadway was born in Toledo, Ohio to two teachers. She and her family relocated to Los Angeles when was nine years old.
She began acting professionally in 2010, when she appeared on the crime drama series Southland, playing the role of Brooks Ryerson.
In the next few years, Lizze booked a variety of guest roles on shows such as Shameless, Bones, Trophy Wife, and Chicago P.D. She also made her feature film debut in the film A Killer Walks Amongst Us (2016).
Despite working professionally, Lizze viewed acting as a hobby, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to pursue it as a career. As she began approaching university, she was debating whether to pursue a career in acting or computer science engineering. After talking with friend who was in the acting industry, in 2019, Lizze decided she would give herself five years to make it as an actress.
In 2023, she established herself by appearing in the film Ghosted (2023) with Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and Adrien Brody. Lizze credits director Dexter Fletcher with validating her career decision through his collaborative and welcoming set. That same year she appeared in her most prominent project yet, The Boys spin-off Gen V. Lizze played Emma Meyer, a supe who can shrink herself, and received praise for her performance. The series has been renewed for a second season, set to air sometime in 2025.
In 2025, Lizze appeared in the Netflix film Kinda Pregnant (2025) with Amy Schumer.
Lizze is dating Cobra Kai star Tanner Buchanan.
