Levi MeadenDate of Birth: September 13, 1987
Canadian actor Levi Meaden was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He began acting at age 12 in local theater productions and eventually moved to the Czech Republic after he finished high school. There, he studied writing and directing at the Prague Center for Film Education, where he credits one of his teachers for reintroducing him to acting and reigniting his passion for the medium.
After graduation, he moved to Vancouver, Canada, where he landed roles on several American TV shows, including
The Killing,
Almost Human, and a recurring part on the first season of
The 100.
Levi’s big screen debut was in the crime-drama short film,
Brotherly Love (2009). Three years later, he appeared in the video
1313: Bigfoot Island (2012), part of writer-director
David DeCoteau’s horror-thriller video series. He also played the lead in the indie film
Alice in the Attic (2017).
Some of his biggest roles to date include playing a soldier in
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), Jaeger pilot Iyla in
Pacific Rim Uprising (2018) and the role of Sam in the thriller
Breaking In (2018).
Next, Levi is set to return to the small screen with the CBC TV mini-series
Unspeakable, filmed in Vancouver.
