Born and raised in Moorpark, California, Kelli Berglund began her career at a young age filming commercials and modeling for print campaigns. She then graduated to television appearances on such series as Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, America’s Next Producer, and Hip Hop Harry, a Discovery Kids/TLC co-production that educated children through music.
After a minor role in the indie comedy short, Bye, Bye Benjamin featuring Jason Segel and Ted Danson, Kelli began work for Disney on the martial arts-inspired show, Kickin’ It. In 2012, she landed a starring role as the super-powered and lightning fast Bree Davenport on Disney’s hit TV series, Lab Rats. Kelli marks her third collaboration with the House of Mouse in the upcoming Disney Channel TV movie, How To Build A Better Boy, set to air in August 2014. In the film, Berglund plays Mae Hartley, an intelligent high school student who creates the perfect boyfriend for herself. Along with co-star China Anne McClain, Kelli even recorded an original single for the film, entitled, Something Real.
Kelli is also an accomplished and multi-award-winning dancer, trained in jazz, hip-hop, tap, and lyrical contemporary. She also regularly volunteers with the Audrey Hepburn C.A.R.E.S. Team, in association with the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. She lives with her parents, Mark and Michelle Berglund, and younger sister, Kirra.
