June Squibb Overview

Born and raised in Vandalia, Illinois, June Squibb trained at the Cleveland Play House and the highly regarded HB (Herbert Berghof) Studio in New York City. She began her career in musical theater and got her first big break when she landed the role of Dulcie in the 1959 Off-Broadway production of The Boyfriend.
