Jude Hill Biography

Jude Hill is a Northern Irish actor from Gilford, County Down, who made an impressive feature film debut at age nine as Buddy in Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast (2021). Selected from 300 auditionees, his heartfelt performance won him a Critic’s Choice Award for Best Young Actor and a Newcomer Award from the Hollywood Critics Association. Since then, he has appeared in Branagh’s A Haunting in Venice (2023), for which he won a Sierra Award from the Las Vegas Film Critics Society and, at age 12, he co-starred with Nicole Kidman in the Amazon thriller Holland (2025).

Jude’s early interest in performance led him from Shelly Lowry School drama classes at age four to modeling and TV roles like Magpie Murders (2022). Most recently, he completed a role opposite Chris Pratt in the upcoming Apple TV+ production Warriors of the World (2025). ~Erin Grace
