Joseph Kahn Biography

Joseph Kahn began his career while in his teens in his hometown of Houston, shooting videos for local hip-hop acts. By the time he was 30, he'd directed more than 200 music videos for a diverse roster of artists including U2, Britney Spears, Faith Hill, Janet Jackson, Eminem and Aerosmith, to name a few. Along the way he picked up a Grammy nomination as well as several MTV Video Music Awards and Music Video Production Association Awards.

In 1999, Kahn formed a production company, SuperMega and just a few years later, he made his feature directorial debut with the action movie Torque (2004), starring Ice Cube.
