As a youngster, Jessy Terrero shot his first movie using Super 8 film. Knowing that he wanted to be involved somehow in show business, he started T&T Casting with his brother, first casting extras in low budget films, then moving on to casting actual roles. At the same time, Jessy went out on auditions himself and landed a few guest appearances on TV shows such as Law & Order, Brooklyn South and The Sopranos.
He turned to directing music videos as well as a seven-minute short film called The Clinic (2002), which screened at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival, the New York International Latino Film Festival and the Los Angeles Short Film Festival.
Soul Plane (2004) marks Jessy's feature film directorial debut.
