Jessica Simpson Overview

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Jessica Simpson began singing contemporary Christian music at an early age. By the time she was in junior high school, she'd recorded and released a Christian album and was sharing the bill with gospel greats Kirk Franklin and Ce Ce Winans. At 17, Jessica signed a recording contract with Columbia Records.
