Born: April 24, 1992

Jack Henry Quaid was born in Los Angeles, California to actors Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid. Growing up, Jack took an interest in movies. When attending Crossroads School in Santa Monica, Jack was the president of the Bad Movie Club.

Being the son of two actors provided Jack with a lot of support growing up. Seeing his parents were successful gave him proof that it was possible to make a living from acting, unlike some of his classmates whose parents told them to have a backup plan. Jack attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts for three years.

He made his professional acting debut as the character of Marvel in The Hunger Games (2012) with Jennifer Lawrence. The next year he reprised his role in a flashback in the film's sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013).

After his experience in The Hunger Games, Jack began appearing a variety of independent films, all while performing as a member of the sketch comedy troop Sasquatch Sketch. In 2017 he appeared in Steven Soderbergh's heist film Logan Lucky (2017) with Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Daniel Craig.

Jack's popularity exploded in 2019 when he starred on the Amazon superhero series The Boys, playing the lead role of Hughie. He played the role in 32 episodes over four seasons. The series' fifth and final season will release in 2026.

In 2022 Jack appeared in the revival of the Scream franchise with Scream (2022). He also played a small role in Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award-winning film Oppenheimer (2023).

In 2025, Jack appeared alongside Sophie Thatcher in Companion (2025), which is about a companion robot who wreaks havoc when she's freed from her shackles. He said that upon reading the script, he knew it was a project he had to be a part of.

In addition to on-screen work, Jack has also provided his voice to several projects. He is a part of the main cast on Star Trek: Lower Decks as the voice of Brad Boimler. The series ran for five seasons from 2020 to 2024. He is also the voice of the Man of Steel in My Adventures with Superman, which has aired for two seasons so far.
