Born: June 20, 1995
Born in Newcastle, Australia, to an Indian Tamil father and a Swiss-German mother, Geraldine Viswanathan grew up with creative influence and a multicultural perspective. She trained at the Hunter School of Performing Arts and, at 15, spent time in Los Angeles pursuing roles.
Geraldine made her screen debut in Emo the Musical (2016), but her breakout role came in the comedy Blockers (2018), playing the role of Kayla. She was called the film’s "scene-stealer." She followed this with a string of acclaimed roles: Netflix’s The Package (2018), a dramatic lead in Hala (2019) at Sundance, and Bad Education (2019).
On television, Geraldine became a regular on TBS’s anthology comedy Miracle Workers (2019-2023), playing a different role each season opposite Daniel Radcliffe. She starred in the title role of Cat Person (2023), appeared in The Beanie Bubble (2023), and co-led Ethan Coen’s road comedy Drive-Away Dolls (2024). She most recently played Mel in Marvel’s Thunderbolts* (2025).
