Gavin Rossdale Overview

Born in London, England, Gavin Rossdale lived with his doctor father after his parents' divorce. His older sister Soraya encouraged his musical interests, and Gavin began playing guitar, eventually becoming a member of a punk band. In 1992 he formed his own band called Bush. The group was successful and by 1995 they had a record deal and began touring.
