Fred Hechinger Overview

Fred Hechinger, who was born in New York City, was named for his grandfather, The New York Times education editor Fred M. Hechinger. The younger Fred attended Saint Ann's School with fellow actors Lucas Hedges and Maya Hawke on the Upper West Side.  He studied comedy acting at the Upright Citizens Brigade, a training ground for many of today's comedy actors.
