An extremely versatile actor, Frank Langella is equally at home onstage as he is on screen. Having graduated from the acting program at Syracuse University, he won an Obie Award in 1965 for his work in the play The Old Glory. He then went on to receive a Golden Globe nomination as "Most Promising Newcomer - Male" for his role in his feature film debutDiary of a Mad Housewife (1970).
