Emilia Annis Jones was born in Westminster, London, England. Her parents both work in the entertainment industry — her father is a singer and presenter and her mother was a former trapeze artist. She has a brother named Lucas Jones.
Her acting debut was in 2011 at the age of eight in the film One Day, followed by an appearance in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and House of Anubis, all in that same year.
She is best known for her role as Ruby Rossi in the Academy Award-winning film CODA (2021). She spent nine months learning ASL to prepare for her role in the film in which she played the only speaking member of an all-deaf family.
She is also known for playing Kinsey on Netflix's popular series, Locke & Key (2020-2022). The series is a supernatural thriller based on the comic book series of the same name.
Emilia is very musical, and she enjoys singing and playing the guitar in her free time. She spends time with her family in England when she is not working.
