Elizabeth Perkins Overview

Although Perkins was born in Queen's, New York, she was raised in Vermont. After high school, Perkins headed for Chicago to pursue an acting career. While in the windy city, she trained at the Goodman School of Drama. In three years (1984-87) Perkins achieved more than most actors accomplish in a lifetime. She costarred in the touring company of Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs, married Chicago-based actor Terry Kinney, was featured on Broadway, and made her film debut in About Last Night......
