Born: April 02, 1962

American actor, screenwriter and director Clark Gregg is best known for his role as Phil Coulson in the films Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2(2010), Thor (2011) and Marvel's The Avengers (2012). He has also lent his voice to the animated television series Ultimate Spider-Man.

Clark received his BFA in Drama in 1986 from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He started his career doing theater in New York and is one of the founding members of the Atlantic Theater Company. Clark formerly played FBI Special Agent Mike Casper on the NBC series The West Wing. He played Phil Coulson on for seven seasons on Marvel's TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013 to 2020) as well as in the film Captain Marvel (2019).

Other credits on the big screen include The To Do List (2013), Labor Day (2014), the crime thriller Spinning Man (2018) and the action comedy Thelma (2024).

Clark married actress Jennifer Grey (of Dirty Dancing fame) in 2001, but they divorced in 2021. They have a daughter, Stella.
