Chloe Bailey is a singer-songwriter and actress who rose to prominence alongside her sister Halle Bailey as Chloe x Halle. Chloe was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but raised in Mableton, Georgia, with her sister Halle and younger brother Branson.
While living in Georgia, Chloe appeared in minor roles in a few films such as The Fighting Temptations (2003) and alongside her sister in Last Holiday (2006) with Queen Latifah.

In 2012 Chloe and her family moved to Los Angeles to further their careers. The girls were taught to write songs by their father, Doug Bailey, and posted their performances on YouTube, where they gained popularity.

In 2016, they signed with Beyoncé’s record label Parkwood Entertainment and released their debut album The Kids Are Alright in 2018, which earned them two Grammy nominations.

That same year, Chloe booked the role of Jazz Forster on the Black-ish spin-off Grown-ish alongside her sister. Chloe appeared in 70 episodes throughout the first five seasons before leaving the show prior to its sixth and final season in 2022.

In 2024, she starred in the Peacock original film Praise This as Sam, a rebellious aspiring singer-songwriter. Chloe was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Limited Series or Dramatic Special at the Image Awards.

She also appeared in Girl from the North Country (2025) alongside Woody Harrelson and Olivia Colman
