Charlie Korsmo was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A highly talented actor, he won critical approval for the difficult and demanding role of Matthew Macauley in Men Don't Leave.
Riding high on this success, he went to Hollywood and was cast in Dick Tracy, directed by Warren Beatty and nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Al Pacino as Best Supporting Actor.
He followed that with What About Bob?, directed by Frank Oz. Charlie Korsmo has also appeared on television in The Creative Spirit, a PBS special.
