Charlie Gillespie was born in New Brunswick, Canada to Patrick Gillespie and Jeanette Gillespie. He has three older brothers and a younger sister.
He made his film debut with the movie The Outlaw League (2014) and has since appeared on television shows such as Charmed (2018) and the movies Speed Kills (2018), The Rest of Us (2019) and Runt (2020).
His most recognizable role was as Luke Patterson on the Netflix series Julie and the Phantoms (2020).
Charlie has won the 2023 Calgary International Film Festival award for Special Jury Citation for Performance, Best Canadian Narrative Film Competition for his work in the Canadian movie Suze.
Charlie loves hiking in his spare time and his true passion is music, which he started pursuing at an early age with his mother's encouragement. He can play guitar, bass guitar, piano, violin, tuba, trombone, and the saxophone.
