Like his older sister Jenna, Cayden Boyd began working at a young age. As a toddler, he was featured in several print ads and commercials. By the time Cayden was four, his parents decided to leave Texas so their kids could give Hollywood a shot.
With their elfin good looks and blond hair, both children quickly landed roles in major projects. Cayden scored guest shots on Nickelodeon's Taina and NBC's Scrubs before playing Young Mark in his first independent feature, Fault (2002). A role as Tim Robbins' son in Clint Eastwood's Oscar-winning Mystic River (2003) ensured that Cayden's career was on the rise. Small parts in Freaky Friday (2003) starring Lindsay Lohan, Envy and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (both 2004 and both starring Ben Stiller) followed before he landed the starring role as Max in Robert Rodriguez's The Adventures of Sharkboy & Lavagirl in 3-D (2005).
Cayden's small screen appearances include The King of Queens, Crossing Jordan, Days of Our Lives and Cold Case. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football and video games and going on hiking adventures with his dad, an airline pilot.
