Born in Australia, Callan McAuliffe became the Head Chorister of the Scots College in Sydney at age 12 and played the title role in their production of Oliver. He was invited to perform at the Australian Conservatorium of Music and was featured at the Sydney Olympics, singing "Ready to Fly" with Australian music artist Amy Pearson.
