Brenda Song Culkin was born in Carmichael, California. Brenda has been working since she was a child. She began her career at the age of six as a child model.
She made her on-screen debut in a one-episode appearance on the sitcom Thunder Alley in 1994. Brenda made her feature film debut in Santa with Muscles (1996), starring Hulk Hogan. In 2001, she began her career with Disney after starring in the Disney Channel original film The Ultimate Christmas Present, where she earned a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie (Comedy) – Supporting Young Actress.
Following the film, she signed a contract with Disney Channel and went on to appear in a number of their projects, most notably as London Tipton on the comedy franchise The Suite Life. Brenda played the character for 158 episodes across two shows and a Disney Channel original film.
She started to make the transition into mainstream roles with the award-winning biographical drama The Social Network (2010). Brenda was part of the ensemble that won Ensemble of the Year at the Hollywood Film Awards.
Brenda has since enjoyed a very successful career, appearing in television shows and films. Most recently, she has lent her voice to the role of Akemi in the acclaimed animated series Blue Eye Samurai and appeared in Gia Coppola’s drama film The Last Showgirl (2024), starring Pamela Anderson.
Brenda has been married to fellow actor Macaulay Culkin since 2017 and they have two children. Brenda has said she and Macaulay have made an effort to keep their two children out of the spotlight because it was not a life they asked for.
