Ben Whishaw Overview

Born in England, Ben Whishaw graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in Spring 2003. However, his acting experience began much earlier, as a member of the Bancroft Players Youth Theatre, followed by supporting roles in the films The Trench and Mauvaise Passé (both 1999), the title role in the 2001 feature My Brother Tom (for which he won a British Independent Film Award as Most Promising Newcomer) and a role as Sully in the mini-series Other People's Children (2000).
