Following in the footsteps of his older brother Ben, also a performer, Adam began taking singing lessons when he was six. His teacher Debbie Brennan encouraged both Ben and Adam to audition for roles in musical theatre and also to successfully audition for Sylvia Young Theatre School Agency.
He has appeared in commercials, played Young Roddy in Gutpunch - a short film by Lighthouse Productions for the 2013 London Film Festival. He also played gullible brother Louie in the British series All at Sea and has appeared on the popular series Sherlock twice, including the holiday special Sherlock: The Abominable Bride (2016), which screened in theatres.
Adam's biggest role to date was playing seven-year-old Jesus in the Chris Columbus film The Young Messiah, based on the novel by Anne Rice.
Once the film was completed, he returned to the stage playing the title role in Richard Eyre's production of Ibsen's Little Eyolf, which ran from November 19, 2015 - January 19, 2016 at the Almeida Theatre in London.
