Born: June 07, 1994

Aaron Stone Pierre was born in West Croydon, Greater London, England. Growing up, Aaron was very invested in athletics. He had a particular interest in track and field and sprinting. One of his idols was former American sprinter Maurice Greene. Aaron had an opportunity to meet the sprinter and get his autograph on a slip of paper, but he eventually lost the paper, which he has said is still devastating to this day.

Aaron's high school growing up did not provide drama as a subject. Instead, they would put on one play every three years. One of those plays was Moby Dick, for which Aaron had the part of the narrator. Participating in that play was the first time Aaron had been on stage by choice, and it helped create the mindset of not just taking himself seriously, but taking the opportunity seriously.

Aaron would go on to study Performing Arts at Lewisham College before going to train in Toronto and at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMBDA). He graduated in 2016.

Immediately after graduation Aaron started his career on television. In 2017 he booked small roles on Prime Suspect: Tennison, The A Word and Britannia. In 2018 Aaron booked his first series regular role on the Syfy series Krypton, playing the part of Dev-Em, the former Primus of the Krypton military guild.

That same year, Aaron returned to the stage. He starred as Cassio in Othello at Shakespeare's Globe. During his time as Cassio, his performance was viewed by director Barry Jenkins, who would reach out to Aaron. This led to Aaron auditioning and booking his next on-screen role as Caesar in The Underground Railroad, which was directed and executive produced by Jenkins.

In 2021, Aaron made his feature film debut in M. Night Shyamalan's film Old (2021). One year later he would star in Brother (2022) alongside Lamar Johnson. He received praise for his performance, which led to a few awards nominations and a win at the Canadian Screen Awards for Performance in a Supporting Role.

In 2024 Aaron's star rose even higher as he starred in the hit Netflix film Rebel Ridge (2024) alongside Don Johnson. Aaron took over the role from John Boyega who had to step down for family reasons.

Aaron teamed up with Kelvin Harrison Jr. twice in 2024. The first time was when they played two of the most influential people in history on the fourth season of the National Geographic series Genius. Aaron took on the role of Malcom X opposite Kelvin as Martin Luther King Jr. Aaron's performance earned him a nomination at the Black Reel Awards for Television for Outstanding Lead Performance in a TV Movie/Limited Series.

Aaron would also lend his voice as the lead role Mufasa in Barry Jenkins’ film Mufasa: The Lion King (2024) opposite Kelvin's Taka, who would become Scar. Aaron took over the voice from legendary actor James Earl Jones and made sure that his performance would be able to honor him.

Aaron will also be joining the world of superheroes after being cast as John Stewart / Green Lantern in DC Studio's Lanterns television series alongside Kyle Chandler.
